Happy September everyone! We have another month of fun challenges for you at Create with Connie and Mary AND we are kicking it off with a fun sketch challenge combined with making a pocket card!
As soon as I thought of doing a pocket card I thought right away of using the envelope liners. It worked out PERFECTLY!!!
For this card I used the middle envelope liner (in the set of three). By playing with the paper size I was able to get my final pocket card to measure 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 so perfect for a regular sized envelope!
The pocket card was made using dsp from Sweater Weather. I added a Chocolate Chip herringbone print banner with strip of the Soft Sky Polks Dot on on it. I stamped the greeting using Versamark on Very Vanilla, embossed with Early Espresso Embossing Powder, punched with 1″ Square Punch, layered on 1 1/4″ Square Punch, then 1 1/2 Scallop Square Tangerine Tango Punch. I used the Crushed Curry marker to highlight ‘so much’. I added this using dimensionals. The inside card is Very Vanilla and I used the same envelope liner to shape the top. I sponged using Chocolate Chip. I added a strip of the Chocolate Chip Herringbone print along the bottom and a strip of Tangerine Tango cardstock. The leaves at the top – maple: tangerine tango solid, oak: Soft Sky solid, outline: versamark and Early Espresso Embossing Powder. Crushed Curry button, Linen Thread. Maple on the bottom – same print as the pocket, outline versamark and Early Espresso Embossed.

I’m trying to not buy everything and thought I could do without these framelits.. but you’re not helping! lol! I love how you added the DSP to the bottom of the inside card.. it makes it look so finished and classy! Beautiful card inside and out!
Very cute Mary, love the pull-out part of your project!
