Window Pane Tutorial

Okay..let’s start with a quick and easy way to make the window.

I started with a piece of Very Vanilla 3 5/8 x 4 7/8.  I then punched out four 1 3/8 square from scrap cardstock using my punch.  (You can use any size punch or even any shape!)  Use tape to position your squares where you would like them on your Very Vanilla base panel.

Now the only thing left is to take your punch and punch your taped in square out!  You don’t have to worry about using temporary tape since you don’t have to removing the cardstock pieces.  How’s that for an easy way to make the panel!

Okay…now for some more details.  The base of the card is Very Vanilla.  I took a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Cajun Craze and layered a 3 1/2 square of Very Vanilla on it.  I took my panel that I show you above, stamped the greeting using Early Espresso and made my ribbon bow by folding the Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon and using a Gold Brad to make it into a bow.  This panel is layered onto the Cajun Craze/Very Vanilla layer using dimensionals.  Finally I stamped the leaf using More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, and Early Espresso, cut these out and attache them inside the ‘windows’ using dimensionals.

Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
