Every now and then I sit down to make a card and I have this idea of exactly what I am doing, then it starts morphing and morphing and morphing.

When I sat down to make this hadn’t stamped in a while (like 2 weeks…GASP… what can I say…SCHOOL!!!) and things just weren’t flowing for me. I finally decided this was NOT going to be my Tour de Freaks card (don’t worry have a REALLY cool one for you…check us out on the 20th of this month) and then thought…oh…this will work for an upcoming SUO challenge. Well, then I decided to do something different for THAT one so here is this poor card that I made while I was TRYING to get my mojo back and it is okay…not stellar but okay and I thought I’d share!

Here’s the details…

Blackberry Bliss – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded
Wildflower Fields dsp (SAB) – 5 1/4 x 3, add to card front
Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim – add to card front
Whisper White – 3 3/4 x 2 3/4, cut out using Oval Framelit, stamp greeting using Basic Grey Archival, add to card front using dimensionals.
Blue Flower is Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo, Purple Flower is just Blackberry Bliss – bottom layer stamped off 3 times before using, middle layer stamped off 2 times before using and outline is full strength. Stamp leaves using Mossy Meadow and color using Pear Pizzazz marker. Cut everything out and add to oval. The blue flower is added using dimensionals.

So that’s the story about this card. Not my most creative…but then sometimes it is tough to get back in the groove when you’ve been away for a bit.
