Happy Freakin’ Hop Day! It’s that time of month again when the control freaks get together to ‘strut their stuff’! How AWESOME is THAT!!! This month we are featuring Autumn/Grateful and since I LOVE the colors of Autumn…I just HAD to join the fun! If you are going forward through the hop you arrived here from LeeAnn Greff and her fabulous Flowerbug Blog! I just LOVE her style!!!
I have a habit of stamping with what is ‘on the top of my desk’ and I just finished having my annual Christmas Card Class and one of the cards we did was this card but in Christmas colors. Oh my…I do LOVE the Wondrous Wreath set and how EASY it is to line everything up since it is the Photopolymer! My card base is Tangelo Twist. The ‘stripe’ is actually the Color Me Autumn Washi Tape. The panel is Very Vanilla and I used Crushed Curry, Tangelo Twist and Blackberry Bliss for my ink! I just think these colors are SOOO rich together! So this is a super quick and easy card for you!
So next up…I have a little fancier card for you! The base of the card is Tangelo Twist and I took another piece and ran it through the hexagon embossing folder, I added a strip of Gold Glimmer Paper then took a piece of Blackberry Biss, used the Banner Framelits (just the ‘end) and cut this strip into a flag and add with dimensionals. The wreath is stamped the same as above and cut out with the wreath framelits and added with dimensionals. The greeting is from the Merry Everything set (Blackberry Bliss and Crushed Curry) and punched out with Note Tag Punch and add with dimensionals. I added a Gold Basic Metal Button then tied a knot in a piece of the Tangelo Twist Ribbon and add using a glue dot.
I always like to do a little 3D to go along with my other projects in the hop post and this time I did a little frame. The frame is 4 x 6 and just the perfect size for this.
Okay…this is pretty much the same as everything above except I used a print from the Moonlight dsp paper stack (LOVE this stack!). I used the Banner Framelits to cut out the banners for this (Blackberry Bliss and Tangelo Twist). Tag is stamped with Blackberry Bliss and Tangelo Twist. Everything else is pretty much the same!
