Tour de Freaks – October

Welcome to the Tour de Freaks October Blog Hop.  Our theme time is Grateful!  I’ve been having so much fun playing with the Vintage leaves set in the regular catalog so decided it would be just PERFECT for this theme!

If you are going forward through the hop, you arrived here from Connie Babbert’s Inkspired Treasures.  Oh my word…where her project CUTE or what???  DANG…how creative!

Here’s the details –

• Kraft – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
• Kraft – 4 x 5 1/4, run through the Woodgrain folder
• Very Vanilla 1 1/4 Striped Satin Ribbon – add to top of panel at an angle securing on back.
• Smoky Slate 5/8″ Chevron Ribbon, add to top of panel over Satin Ribbon securing on back.  Add panel to card front.
• Stamp long leaf in Basic Black Archival on Kraft and Basic Grey, middle leaf Basic Black Archival/Soft Suede, small leave, Basic Black Archival/Basic Black, layer and add to card front.
• Ink greeting using Soft Suede and Basic Grey, stamp on Very Vanilla, punch out using Notetag punch, add uisng dimensionals.
• Add Soft Suede Candy Dot to top of tag, tie bow in Silver Cording Trim and add to top of leaves.

I found this ‘mini’ pie tin at Michael’s the other day and thought it would be cool to make into a little decoration.  That was what actually inspired my colors for my card and this.  Here’s the details…

• Kraft – cut out the large scallop Circle framelit, add to tin using dimensionals.
• Very Vanilla – Cut out the largest Circle framelit, run through the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and to tin.
• Stamp long leaf in Basic Black Archival on Kraft and Basic Grey, middle leaf Basic Black Archival/Soft Suede, small leave, Basic Black Archival/Basic Black, layer.   Add adhesive to back of leaves, add loopies to back then add to tin.
• Ink greeting using Soft Suede and Basic Grey, stamp on Kraft, punch out using Notetag punch.  Fold piece of Smoky Slate 5/8″ Chevron Ribbon and add to tag with staple, add tag uisng dimensionals.
