Welcome everyone to the May Tour de Freaks Blog Hop as we take a look at some sneak peek items from the NEW catalog! Oh I LOVE new stuff!
If you are going forward through the blog hop, you have arrived here from Justin Krieger’s blog JK Cards. Weren’t they GREAT!
Okay…so let’s start with my card. I thought for my projects I would use some of the NEW incolors along with NEW stuff! The base of my card is Pistachio Pudding. I took another piece, ran through the Polka Dot Folder then added to the card front. Next I created the panel. I started with a piece of Strawberry Slush cardstock. I stamped the image from the Mosaic Madness set using Pistachio Pudding ink, punched with the Mosaic punch and added to the strip. I added a Whisper White Ribbon Lace punch then added it to the card front. I did the little ‘flower’ in Strawberry Slush, cut out and added using dimensionals then added Basic Rhinestones to centers. I stamped the greeting using the Pistachio Pudding then stamped the you in Strawberry Slush, cut out and added. I used the Label Framelits to cut it out then added using dimensionals.
Remember the Holiday Mini last year and the GREAT ornament on the front of the mini? Well , I decided to use the new set and punch and make a flower! The frame is a 5×5 frame with a 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 opening. I took a piece Whisper White, ran it though the Modern Mosaic embossing Folder. Next I added a piece of the gingham print from the Gingham Garden dsp pack. I stamped the strip in Pistachio Pudding on Whisper White, layered onto Pistachio Pudding cardstock then added to the base. I made the flower by stamping the image using Melon Mambo on Strawberry Slush, punched out and folded. I made 6 ‘petals’ then added to a 1 3/4″ circle. I stamped another image using Pistachio Pudding on Pistachio Pudding cardstock, punched and added as leaves. The flower is added to the base using dimensionals. I stamped the label image from Lovely Labels using Pistachio Pudding on Whisper White, punched with the Artisan punch and added to the flowers using dimensionals (actually 5 layered on top of each other!). I stamped the greeting from A Round Array using Strawberry Slush, punched with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch then added using a dimensionals.
So I hoped you liked my sneak peek of the Quatre Fancy Suite! Since out hop is a circle…the next stop is actually the first one Dawn Olchefske and her wonderful DOstamping with Dawn Blog! Oh..I just LOVE her stuff!
Beautiful!
