Summer Silhouettes

CCMC247It’s Thursday!  You know what that means…time for another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!   This week…it’s a sketch challenge!

Here’s another of those sets that I haven’t used much even though I do like the image.  The base of the card is Daffodil Delight.  I took the Daffodil Chevron Print from the Sunshine and Sprinkles pack, layered it on Basic Grey then to the card front.  I stamped the stems busing Basic Grey on Whisper White, then the flowers in Daffodil Delight.  I added a Basic Grey Scallop behind the panel then a thin strip of Daffodil Delight on the top.  This panel is added to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the greeting in Versamark on Basic Grey, White Embossed, cut out using the largest Bitty Banner Framlit then added to the card front.  I tied Whisper White Baker’s Twine on a Daffodil Delight then added using Glue Dots.  You really can’t see it on the photo but I used some Dazzling Details on the flowers to finish it off.

Set(s): Summer Silhouettes, Topsy-Turvy Celebrations
Paper: Whisper White, Daffodil Delights, Basic Grey, Sunshine & Sprinkles dsp
Ink: Basic Grey, Daffodil Delight, Versamark
Other: Brights Buttons, Whisper White Baker’s Twine, Scallop Edge Punch, Bitty Banners Framelits, White Embossing Powder, Dazzling Details, Dimensionals

Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!

  1. Such a striking card, Mary! I love the colors and the addition of dazzling details. And I like how you added the little strip of Daffodil Delight card stock down the side. It is those little details that I love!
