Spring Sampler

Create Spring Sat Challenges 010We have come to the end of Week 4 of Create with Connie and Mary Spring Edition 2013 and time for another Saturday challenge!  This week…it’s a fun color challenge.  Since we were focused on nature and spring this week, I decided to use some flowers on mine.

I just LOVE blue and yellow together so decided to use my Hearts a Flutter Framelit to make these cute tags in the 4 colors:  Not Quite Navy, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight.  I stamped the flower from the Spring Sampler set in Versmark on each and embossed in white.  Then I took the coordinating color ink and rubbed over the embossed image to make them stand out a little more.  The base of the card is Whisper White.  I took another piece of Whisper White, stamped the HELLO from the Oh, Hello set in Not Quite Navy, added the tags using White Brads, made a bow (click the tutorial tab above for how I make my ‘bows’) using Daffodil Delight Seam Binding and a White brad, added to the panel then added the panel to the card base using dimensionals.  Yep…that’s all there is to it!  Oh…doesn’t it feel like spring?

  1. I just saw your card on Late Night Stampers Blog Finds…I have been saturated with the Hello cards, but I really like your version…colorful and very pretty and different!
