Snowflake Soiree

TEXTURES…okay…I started this out by making my own ‘textures’ on the Midnight Muse card base.  I began with some ‘direct to paper’ using Night of Navy ink, then stamped a snowflake using Midnight Muse ink and then stamped another snowflake using the new Illuminate pad.  I shows up okay in the photo but it is sooooooo coool in real life!  Really looks like a lot of texture.  Next I took a piece of Shimmery White, ran it through the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder (more texture) and added to the card front.  The largest snowflake is Silver Glimmer (still another textured), then two Shimmery White medium snowflakes (one run through the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder – still more texture), a 1/2″ Midnight Muse circle and the a Silver Glimmer Brad.  Each layer is added using a dimensional adding even more texture to the card.  I stamped the word Merry using Versamark and silver embossed.  I love how heat embossing is still another cool texture.  I cut this would using the one framelit from the Apothecary Accents set.  This is added using dimensionals.
