Simply Soft

I decided to go with a simple, mostly monochromatic color scheme and since I love purple, wanted to go with the soft Wisteria Wonder look!  The base of the card is Wisteria Wonder.  I took another piece of that and ran it through the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder.  I stamped Mom using Concord Crush, made a ‘bow’ (click on the tutorial tab above to access my tutorial) using Whisper White 5/8″ Satin Ribbon and a Wisteria Wonder Printed Brad, wrapped around the layer and added to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the flower using StazOn Jet Black ink and colored using Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush, and Pear Pizzazz markers, layered on a piece of Whisper White using dimensionals, then to the card front.

Set(s): Simply Soft, Family Reunion
Paper: Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz
Other: Whisper White 5/8″ Satin Ribbon, Incolor Printed Brads, Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!

  1. How did you stamp/color this beautiful card – 5/1/2012. I have the simply soft stamps and am having trouble matching the color image onto the stamped flower. I don’t know if this makes any sense. I have used this and colored the flowers with my pencils, but I need to make several cards and that would be to time consuming.

Thank you – I also reviewed your bow making tutorial. It was very helpful.

  2. Do you have a video for two stamping Simply Soft. I still can’t do it with my placement tool. I am ready to toss this set😬. Please help
