Season of Friendship

Can you see why this is just a GREAT sketch for the Season of Friendship set? It really is just perfect! I wanted to pair it with a fun paper from the main catalog because I’m trying to use up some of my ‘stash’ I decided to use the Berry Blossom dsp and pull the colors from this pack for my tree.

As always some ‘quick notes’. The base of the card is Calypso Coral. I added a strip of the Early Espresso polka dotted paper onto a piece of Lucky Limeade and added to the card front. Next I added a strip of the floral. I created the ‘tree’ scene with Early Espresso for the tree trunk, Lucky Limeade for the leaves (some stamped on the trunk and other cut out and added, flowers from Calypso Coral and an the Itty Bitty flower punch (added on with silver mini brads) and the bird in Wisteria Wonder. (Glue dots are my friend!) This panel is added to the Wisteria Wonder print and then the card front. I stamped the greeting from Trendy Trees using Early Espresso, punched with Word Window punch and layered onto a modern label Calypso Coral piece and onto the card front.
