Season of Friendship

This sketch was just MADE for the Season of Friendship set…okay…maybe not but you have to admit…it works PERFECTLY with the Season of Friendship set and the fun hostess paper Cheerful Treat! This is one of those layouts that I like to do where it looks one size but is really a regular sized card…that hangy over part is what makes it a regular size.

The base of the card is Pink Pirouette 4 1/4 x 4 1/4. I took the Melon Mambo print from the Cheerful Treats (a 5 1/2″ long strip), cut into a banner on both ends and added to the card base. Next I took a piece of Whisper White and stamped HAPPY (Family Reunion) 7 times in Melon Mambo and 1 time in Concord crush. I added a Concord Crush scallop edge along the bottom then added this panel to the card front using dimensional. Okay…now for ALL the cutting (yes, Jackie…this was for YOU!). I stamped the tree trunk in Early Espresso, cut out and added to the panel along with tons of leaves in Lucky Limeade. Next there are some Melon Mambo flowers (Itty Bitty Punch) added with mini silver brads and bird in Concord Crush to finish it off. Oh…SOOOO MUCH WONDERFUL CUTTING!!!!! Happy indeed!
