Yep…it’s time again for another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge! I hope that your holiday celebrations are going great for you!
We have a fun sketch challenge for you. I have to say…this one made me work a bit until I figured out what to do with it!
I’ve been seeing a lot of folks cutting out the images in the Home for Christmas dsp and when looking at the sketch I decided the cut little deer would just be perfect for the sketch. And you all KNOW how I LOVE to cut things out!
Here’s the details…
Real Red – 4 1/4 x 11, run through the Woodland Embossing folder
Very Vanilla – But out using the Lots of Labels framelit – I then trimmed the sides then made a little shorter by running through the framelit again (what can I saw…I wanted something very specific!), add to card front
Blue/white dotted dsp – 2 1/8 x 4 1/4
Very Vanilla/multi-colored diagonal strip – 1/2 x 4 1/4, add behind the blue/white dotted, stamp greeting using Early Espresso then add to card front
Mossy Meadow – 1/8 x 4 1/4, add to dsp panel.
Cut out two deer, layer and add using dimesionals
Add Home for Christmas green Enamel Dots for finish it off.

LOVE the little deer nestled together on your card! They are so adorable! The little strip of stripped paper you added as a border looks awesome too!
