Okay…I LOVE THIS KIT!! The colors are just plain HAPPY!!! So I had some ‘pieces’ left over from a BIG project I was working on for Create with Connie and Mary Spring Edition 2013 (shhh…don’t tell…but you’ll be able to see it Sunday – it is my Preview Project!) and they worked perfectly for the sketch challenge on SCS today!

Oh…but there’s MORE! Today we introduce Guest Designer #4 for Create with Connie and Mary Spring Edition 2013! What can I say but this wonderful lady really ‘flies’ by the seat of her pants! When I visit her blog I start humming “I’ll Fly Away”…or even “Leaving on a Jet Plane”. Hmmmm….do you know who this very talented lady is? Well head over to Create with Connie and Mary and find out!

Okay…now for my quick and easy card. The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Pool Party. I took a piece of the hexagon dsp from the Tea for Two dsp pack and added to the card base. Next I took a tag from the Pop-Up Posies kit and added to the card front using dimensionals. That GREAT stamps comes with the Pop-Up Posies Kit and I stamped it on Natural Cream using Island Indigo and Calypso Coral ink. I cut it into a tag and made the ‘flower’ from the new 7/8″ Scallop Circle punch (snipped between the bumps), 1/2″ Crumb Cake circle and Calypso Coral Printed Brad, This is added to the banner and that is added using dimensionals. Yep…had some of the cool flower petal pieces left over too from my BIG project so I used three piece and a Pool Party Printed Brad and added that to the card front using a dimensional to finish it off!
