Pleasant Poppies

You all know that watercoloring isn’t something I like to do…probably because I’m not very good at it!  For this I used ink in the lid of the stamp pad and a blender pen.  It worked.  Boy…at times like this wish we still had that wonderful Poppy Parade ink!  For this though I stamped the image using StazOn Jet Black on watercolor paper then colored with Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive.  I used the Large Scallop Edgelit to cut out the Old Olive scallops for above and below the image and wrapped a piece of Basic Black 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon around the bottom then added to the Cherry Cobbler card base.  I stamped the greeting using Basic Black on watercolor paper, cut out with the Windows Framelit, added a gold brad to the top then added the greeting using dimensionals.
