Petal Parade

CCMC294I couldn’t resist using this fun SAB set with the YUMMY colors in the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge this week.

I haven’t really played with this set much and the colors for the challenge (Strawberry Slush, Old Olive, Basic Black) just seemed like a perfect combo for this fun set!

Here’s the details –

  • Whisper White – 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 folded
  • Whisper White – 3 3/4 x 3 3/4.  Stamp the scallop edge in Basic Black, the leafy image in Old Olive and greetin in Strawberry Slush.  Now to the Chevron image in Strawberry Slush and Basic Black.  Add to card front using dimensionals.
  • Stamp the flower in Strawberry Slush and the leafy image in Old Olive, cut out.  Add the leafy image to the card front and the flower using dimensionals.
  • Add some Basic Rhinestones under the greeting.

The design team did a great job with this color challenge so check it out!

Love how the leaves “fan out” behind the flower – a very contemporary look with this color combination!

  2. You card is so clean, crisp and lovely! Love how you fussy cut the green flowers/leaves and layered them behind the focal flower, and the chevrons are a bright exclamation point! Love it!
