Perfectly Preserved

I’m going to ‘mix things up’ a bit and start by showing you my card!  Well…technically this is the SECOND card I made for today but after I finished the first one, I just was NOT happy with it.  Have you ever had that happen to you?  Well, after looking at that first one for awhile and deciding I didn’t like it, I made this one!

The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 More Mustard and I ran it through the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  I used my Scallop Square Duo die and did the largest one in Raspberry Ripple, layered a piece of the apple print from the Orchard Harvest dsp pack in the center then added this to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the jar using Early Espresso, the lid using Cajun Craze, the flower using More Mustard, the applie in Raspberry Ripple and More Mustard and the leaves using Early Espresso and Lucky Limeade.  These were all cut out using the Cannery Set Framelits  The greeting is stamped in Early Espresso on Lucky Limeade then cut out using the Bitty Banner Framelit.  The jar is added to the card front using dimensionals.  I wrapped a small piece of Early Espresso 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon around the lid then added to the jar.  The flower was added using dimensionals and a Rhinestone added to the center.  The apples were added inside the jar then the greeting added using dimensionals to finish it off.
