Painted Petals

CAS135Boy…it’s been a a while since I stamped just for fun but when I saw the Casology Challenge theme of ‘mini’ I just HAD to join the fun.

I do love the color combination of Calypso Coral and Night of Navy – it is simple and striking.  After I made my main card, I decided it needed ‘just a little sumthin’, sumthin’ so I added the ‘mini’ banners on the side and it was just what it needed to ‘kick it up’ a step!

Here’s the details –

  • Whisper White – 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 folded
  • Whisper White – 3 5/8 x 3 5/8, stamp the flowers in Cameo Coral and the greeting using Night of Navy.
  • Punch a Calypso Coral and Night of Navy Banners, add behind the panel and add using dimensionals
  • Add some Basic Rhinestones to finish it off.

Yep…believe it or not that’s all there is to it!  LOVE CAS!!!

  1. cute little notecard, Mary….I am trying to figure out what goes where on this stamp set, spent about an hour this evening trying to decide where the leaves and flowers need to be and then ended up loosing track of one of those teeny tiny little leaf pieces. ARGH!! I like the way the PPM stick to the block but when they are clear and tiny they can make keeping track of them rather a challenge, eh?

Love the Navy and Calypso together! You never disappoint..thanks for sharing! jdh

  2. Mary, this card is absolutely beautiful!! I saw it this morning before heading out to work, so I sat down and made one while my car was warming up/defrosting! I made a full-size card, with the top (stamped) layer cut to 4-1/2″ X 3-1/4″. I absolutely LOVE the color combination. Thanks for the inspiration!!

  3. I’m so glad you took some time to make a card for fun! How nice!!! And your card looks so pretty! Well done, Mary! Thanks for joining us at CASology this week! Hugs, May
