Ornament Keepsake

Okay…so two very different things came together for this ‘contemporary’ card this morning! First was the color challenge on SCS today…Tempting Turquoise, Gumball Green and Pear Pizzazz (I used Certainly Celery…just a little lighter). Second was looking through the website of a stamper (N@ Ali) who has such a fun, clean style (very graphic!) and finding this fun layout. You can see her card here. So you put those two things together and this is what I got!

The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Whisper White. I added strips of Tempting Turquoise, Gumball Green and Certainly Celery. Nest I stamped the ornament three times…two in Gumball Green and one in Tempting Turquoise, cut out using the Holiday Ornament framelit, then cut out the different stripes and layered them. I punched a 1/1 4″ Silver Glimmer Scallop Circle, a 1″ Gumball Green circle, stamped the greeting in versamark and silver embossed, punched with 3/4″ circle, layered and added using a dimensional. I drew a silver line with my silver glimmer pen and added the ornament using dimensinoals, Next I made a ‘bow’ (click tutorial tab above) using Certainly Celery 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon and a Silver Brad and added to the card front. To add a little dazzle…I punched out one 3/4″ Silver Glimmer circle and three 1/2″ Silver Glimmer Circles and added to the card front. So that’ my different little Christmas card.
