Oh, Whale!

Yep…time for another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge and a fun color challenge for you! Now most people would see these colors and see something different but for me they were PERFECT for a whale…yep…pink whale…works for me!

The base of the card is the Scallop Square in Pink Pirouette. I took a piece of Whisper White, layered onto Midnight Muse then to the card front using dimensionals. I layered a 1 3/4″ Whisper White circle on a Midnight Muse 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle then added to the card front. I tried stamping the whale in Pink Pirouette but it really was too light, so I just cut it out with the sizzlit from the Pink Pirouette cardstock and added to the circle. I stamped the ‘splash’ and the ‘wave’ in Midnight Muse, cut them out, and added to the card front. Finally I stamped the greeting in Midnight Muse, cut into a banner and added to the card front. A dimensional was added to the whale for its eye.

Darn you Mary! I didn’t purchase this framelit set because I didn’t really think I would use it. I love the whale used with just the cardstock instead of the stamped image!
