Non-traditional Christmas Colors

And it’s Saturday again! This week our theme for the Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Hop is to make a card using non-traditional Christmas colors. We are going to be giving the design team next week off so they can celebrate the holiday! Merry Christmas everyone! Nothing says Christmas to me like purple and blue!

Here’s the details…

  • Fresh Freesia – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Basic White – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4, layer onto Blueberry Bushel 3 5/8 x 4 7/8, add to card front
  • Balmy Blue – cut out the 4 layer tree, stamp detail in Balmy Blue
  • Lighter Than Air DSP – diamond print, cut out the 3 layer tree
  • More Dazzle – cut out 2 of the garland and 2 starts, add to trees, add trees to card front using dimensionals
  • Balmy Blue and Fresh Freesia – cut out twinkle stars from both colors, add to card front
  • Balmy Blue – 3/4 x 4, stamp greeting in Night of Navy, add to card front using dimensionals

And now for our latest collection…

Don’t you wish you could smell the beautiful lavender flowers in Stampin’ Up!’s PERENNIAL LAVENDER SUITE?  The gorgeous shades of purples, Lost Lagoon and Crumb Cake certainly inspire calm and tranquility.  Mix and match the Painted Lavender blossoms and sprigs with the heartfelt Perennial Postage greetings in script/type fonts for never-ending options on your cards and projects!  Make them as simple or complex as you wish!  And the Perennial Postage label dies are a useful addition to any papercrafts.  Our PERENNIAL LAVENDER SUITE CARD COLLECTION features the PAINTED LAVENDER AND PERENNIAL POSTAGE BUNDLES with the PAINTED LAVENDER DESIGNER PAPER. There are step-by-step tutorial instructions for EIGHT cards in this expanded Collection!  See more details here!
