As you can see, this week we have a GREAT sketch challenge for you! I just love designs that have circles or ovals on it (the ovals I think drive everyone else on the design team crazy though – LOL!!) Since this month is the last month for the Occasions Mini and since the catalog will soon be ending I’m trying to take advantage of ‘last chance’ Occasions Mini items and I’m trying to use my dsp from the main catalog. You put those two together this is what you get!

The base of the card is Melon Mambo. I took the Lucky Limeade/Melon Mambo/Pink Pirouette polka dotted print from the Cheerful Treat Hostess dsp pack, layered it onto Early Espresso then the card front. Next I made an Early Espresso scallop with the Tasteful Treat die and added to the card front. I did the Paper Doily die in Pink Pirouette and cut it down and added to the card front. I stamp the cherry in Early Espresso and punched out with the 2 1/2″ circle punch, and layered onto an Early Espresso circle. I stamped the cherries in Melon Mambo and leaf in Lucky Limeade, cut out and added to the image. I made a ‘bow’ (<a href=”http://stampercamper.com/cardpost/making_bows”>click here for my tutorial</a>) using Melon Mambo 1 1/4″ Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and a green rhinestone brad, added to the circle and then added the circle to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped the greeting from the Sweet Cake set using Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso and Melon Mambo markers on Pink Pirouette cardstock, cut into a banner and added to the cardfront using dimensionals and glue dots to finish it off.
