Oh…I am sooo excited! I am one of the alumni that is participating in this week’s CAS challenge on SCS. The theme is pets or holiday pets and I decided Rudolph is a holiday pet so that is what I went with.

Before I get started…don’t miss my Trio of Holiday Gift Holders that I have posted today! It is my Preview Project for Create with Connie and Mary and I am offering Blog Candy TODAY (Monday) and for everyone FREE TUTORIALS!

I’m not much into doing ‘punch art’ but I was looking at the new Christmas Ornament Punch and decided I could make a reindeer out of that. The reindeer is the Christmas Ornament Punch, 2-Step Bird Punch, Circle from the Bitty Punch Pack. Ornament from the Merry Mini Punch Pack, 1/4″ Circle Punch. The hat is from the Snow Days snowman set. Okay…now that you have that here’s some other notes…the base of the card is Very Vanilla with the bottom corners rounded. I stamped the greeting using Old Olive. Th plaid is from Season of Style dsp and then a strip in Old Olive. The reindeer is added using dimensionals.

Preview Week has begun and I have such a cool project for you on Monday! Connie and I are starting the Early Bird signups for our Create with Connie and Mary Winter Collection 2013. It’s all about Christmas and Winter projects! It’s not too early to start planning those gifts and decorating and we have lots of GREAT ideas to help you!
