Mixed Bunch

Oh it’s time for another CAS challenge on SCS!  I just LOVE this day of the week as I just LOVE CAS cards!  We have a fun challenge for your as it is CAS cards using scallops.  SOOOO many options.  This is one of the two cards I made for this challenge…make sure you check out my other one too.

As soon as I saw that the challenge was using scallops I thought of doing this idea – using a variety of scallop edges layered together.  This is NOT my original idea but I do LOVE the look!  It is so fun, and easy to do!  This card really is quick and easy.  The base of the card is Whisper White with the bottom two corners rounded.  I took a piece of the Pool Party print from the Attic Boutique dsp and added to the top of the card.  I punched out scallop pieces using Lace Ribbon Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Eyelet Edge Punch and then the Scallop Trim Edge Punch.  For the Scallop Trim piece, I did both sides of the strip so I had a finished scallop edge along the top too.  I layered all these strips together, added a strip of Pool Party and added this piece to the card front.  The greeting was stamped using Pool Party.  I stamped the flower using Versamark on cardstock Vellum, embossed with white, punched with the Blossoms Punch, did a Pool Party Blossom punch underneath, added a Pool Party Printed Designer Brad and then added the flower using dimensionals to finish it off
