Since it is the end of March we are getting ready for “April Showers” coming soon so what could be better than a shower of flowers! Anyway it is time for the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge and this is sketch week time!

The base of the card is Pool Party. I took another piece of Pool Party, ran through the clouds folder and added to the card front. I added a Real Red Banner, stamped the greeting in Basic Black on Sahara Sand, cut into a banner and added both to the card front. I stamped the silhouette in Sahara Sand on Whisper White and cut with eh Oval Framelit. I stamped the girl again in Real Red and clear embossed, cut out the boots and umbrella, glued the boots on and added the umbrella using a dimensional. I inked the flowers in Pool Party and Real Red, stamped on the oval then added to the card front using dimensionals to finish it off.

This is such a pretty card – I keep forgetting to use Pool Party (thanks for the reminder!). Both Connie & yourself must be on the same wavelength to think of using the same stamp set lol. Thanks so much for having me play along for the past few months – I’ve enjoyed every challenge!
