Merry Christmas!

To all my stamping friends…A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Even though today is Christmas, it is still the start of an SUO challenge! Robin, our challenge ‘mom’, picked a perfect challenge for today…make it blue! I decided to do a simple card to wish everyone Merry Christmas today!

The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Whisper White. I took another piece of Whisper White, ran it through the Polka Dotted folder and added to the card front. Next I took strip of Whisper White, embossed the tree from Lovely as a Tree in Whisper White and sponged around it using Midnight Muse. I ripped some Whisper White and Silver Glimmer to make the ‘snow’ on the bottom, added some 1/4″ Silver Glimmer circles and a Silver Glimmer Star on the tree to finish it off. Next I added a strip of the Silver Glimmer along the side and then a Finishing Touches edgelit in Midnight Muse. This panel is added to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped the Merry Christmas in Midnight Muse, punched with the 3/4″ Circle Punch, sponged around the edges, added to a 1″ Silver Glimmer Circle, then a 1 1/4″ Midnight Must Scallop Circle. This is added to the card front using dimensionals to finish it off.

As always a perfectly beautiful card, Mary! All the little details make this so very special! I think my favorite is the way you used the torn white and silver paper to make the “snow.”
