I haven’t been able to join in an Inspiration Challenge over on SCS in AGES!!! This morning I had some time and saw the challenge and found an AWESOME inspiration piece here. I didn’t go with the ‘heart’ theme of the board and the cake but just loved the clean, simple look.
Here’s the details…
Whisper White THICK – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded
Bermuda Bay – 1 1/4 x 5 1/2, add to card front
Black Glimmer – since we no longer have any type of scallop edge, I cut out the wrap around piece from the Berry Basket die…worked perfectly! Add to card front.
Stamp greeting using Basic Black Archival ink.
Stamp large leaf on Smoky Slate and small leaf of Basic Grey using Basic Black Archival Ink, cut out. Layer small leaf onto large one using dimesionals. Add adhesive to back of large leaf and add silver cording trim in ‘loopies’. Add leave to card front using dimensionals.
Tie bow in Silver (yep..it really is silver…color a little off in the picture) Basic Metal button using the Silver Cording Trim. Add using dimensionals.
