Well…this is going to the be last Create with Connie and Mary Thursday challenge before Christmas. To give our fabulous design team a break, we are going to fun this challenge for 2 weeks. This week it’s a fun sketch challenge.

I thought the challenge would be perfect for the Christmas Pine set and then realized that my friend Lisa and I had almost IDENTICAL cards so I did this card (which I LOVE) and then realized the Tracy used the same set – but ours do look different! Oh well…sticking with this one…I did take a LITTLE artistic interpretation with it!

Here’s the details…

Sweet Sugarplum – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded
Silver Glimmer – 1/8 x 5 1/2, add to card front
Whisper White – cut out 3 large clouds and 3 medium clouds, sponge around the edges with Smoky Slate
Soft Sky – 3 3/4 x 5, add clouds, trim off edges, stamp greeting using Basic Black and Rich Razzleberry
Rich Razzleberry – 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, add Soft Sky layer and add to card front using dimensionals
Whisper White – cut out detailed balloon, cut stripes out of Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum, Pool Party, cut basket out of Crumb Cake, layer behind balloon and add to card front using dimensionals

Yep…that’s all there is to it!

Ooh I very nearly did the same as you with the clouds but switched to the DSP last minute! How funny would that have been? Love your card! Lovely colour combination:-)
