Lacy & Lovely

Lacy & LovelyHappy Easter everyone!  Isn’t this a fun set?  I think it is!  So much so I used it for my set this week on Create with Connie and Mary Card “Create”tions which starts TODAY!!!!

Such a fun card!  Although I wouldn’t really consider this CAS, it is from the sketch on the CAS – Clean and Simple Blog.  I decided to keep things to just two colors – Calypso Coral and Midnight Must.  I like how these two color complement each other.

The base of the card is Calypso Coral. I took a piece of Whisper White, stamped the larger lacy image in Midnight Muse, stamped the greeting in Calypso Coral, layered on Midnight Muse and added Incolor Printed Designer Brads then added this panel to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the flower image in Midnight Muse, punched out with the 1″ Circle Punch, layered on Calypso Coral 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle, added an Incolor Designer Printed Brad then added to the card front using dimensionals.

Card Create-tionsI LOVE the card set I made using this set but to see it (and the other 17 card sets still to come!) you need be a subscriber to Create with Connie and Mary Card “Create”tions edition!  But it’s easy to join…just head over to Create with Connie and Mary to learn more….it’s only $19.95 for 18 card set ideas!  We just started today (Sunday) so it’s a GREAT day to join up!  It’s three weeks filled with GREAT ideas with sets from the catalog and some from the Spring Mini.
