Happy Monday everyone! As this is posting I’m in Las Vegas for a couple of days. WOO HOO….warm weather! I’m receiving an award as Distinguished Education in online learning. How awesome is that! But I worked ahead and have a cool card for my challenge this week. First for our inspiration piece…some pretty cookies…

I didn’t want to be too obvious with this but ended up loving what I did for it…

Didn’t that turn out pretty? I think so! Here’s the details…

Pool Party – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
Pool Party – 3 3/4 x 5, run through the Subtle embossing folder, add to card front
Daffodil Delight Gingham DSP – 1/4 x 4, add to card front
Whisper White – cut out scallop stitched heart, add to card front using dimensionals
Whisper White – stamp large rose and two small flowers using Memento Black, color using Bermuda Bay (lt), Pool Party (dk, lt), Mango Melody (lt), Daffodil Delight (dk, lt), Old Olive (dk, lt) Blends, cut everything out, layer and add to card front using dimensionals
Whisper White – cut out little tag from the Bouquet Bunch Framelits, stamp Hello using Coastal Cabana from Beautiful Bouquet, add to card front using dimensions
Tie little bow from the Daffodil Delight organdy SAB ribbon, add to tab
Add some Coastal Cabana Glitter Enamel Dots to the center of the two small yellow flowers to finish off.

Lovely, lovely card. I love the simplicity, but it’s not too simple. Great design and colors! I love the little accent of the gingham paper, too!

This is so pretty, Mary…I wouldn’t have thought to put the focus on the spray of flowers…all I see when I look at that set is the teapot. Love having stamping friends who have an eye for detail and don’t mind sharing it with the world! 😉 Jan
