It’s day 3 of the Create with Connie and Mary Spring Collection 2013 Preview Week and we have another fabulous design team member to introduce to you today. We know that you LOVE her work! So head over to Create with Connie and Mary to see who it is then visit her blog!
I think I’ve mentioned this before…I LOVE the new Butterfly frameltis and the new Hello You framelits. My two VERY favorite things in the new Occasions Mini! I’ve seen some other cards set up sort of like this but usually the butterfly was flat in the opening. I like to see my butterflies have a little ‘movement’ so my butterfly is only attached in the middle of the opening.
Here’s the details…
Whisper White – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
Whisper White – 1 3/4 x 4 1/4, run through new Spring Flowers Embossing Folder and add to the bottom of the card
Wisteria Wonder – 5 a 4 1/4, trim of bottom using largest framelit in the Apothecary Accents framelit
Use medium butterfly frame to cut out butterfly ‘window’ in the Wisteria piece
Tie piece of Whisper White cotton 1/4″ ribbon around panel.
Add panel to card front using dimensionals
Put butter back into opening attaching only along the body.
Cut ‘hello’ out from Whisper White using Hello You framelit and add to card front.
The ‘dots’ were made but putting drops of Crystal Effects on the silicon sheet, letting dry then color with the darkest Wisteria Wonder Blendabilities marker. Add to card front to finish off.
