Heart of Christmas

I bet you’ve seen this designer paper before on my blog.  Yep…LOVE this print.  So this week on Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge we have a cool sketch challenge.  I was trying to figure out what to do with the sketch and I spied this paper.  LOVE it!  So I started in.

The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Very Vanilla with the corners on the right side rounded.  I took a piece of this wonderful dp and added to the card front.  I took a piece of Early Espresso and used the Finishing Touches Edglit on it, added a strip of Champagne Glimmer strip then added to the card front.  I stamped the greeting on a piece of Very Vanilla (with the corners rounded) using Lucky Limeade and Early Espresso ink.  I stamped the one line again using Early Espresso on Lucky Limeade, cut into a banner and added to the tag.  Well…here was the dilemma.  I needed a really cool ribbon but did not have anything.  I had been playing around with making paper bows from the “That’s a Wrap” MDS designer kit.  LOVE it!  Anyway, I shrunk one down to make this ADORABLE little bow in Champagne Glimmer.  I then took a Designer Print Brad and embossed with Early Espresso Embossing powder.  This was added to the tag then the tag added to the card front using dimensionals.  To finish it off I used the Gold Glimmer pen on two of the largest Basic Pearls and added these to the card front.
