Gently Falling

So I was looking at the color challenge for Create with Connie and Mary and was wondering what could I do that would be a little different. When I think of this set I mostly think of autumn but thought it would look nice in these colors and have to say…LOVE IT!

The base of the is Whisper White and I rounded the bottom corners. I stamped the larger leaf in Pool Party, the smaller leaf in Calypso Coral, then the outline leaf in Basic Grey. I added a piece of the Pool Party dotted dsp along the top. I took a piece of Whisper White and stamped the greeting in Basic Grey and Calypso Coral. I added a strip of Basic Grey along the top, a Base Grey Large Scallop edge along the bottom, tied a piece of Calypso coral Ruffled Ribbon around it than added the panel to the card front.

Love your creativity, Mary! The stamp set really works with these colors and I never would have thought to do that. Beautiful!

Mary, how unexpected are Pool Party leaves but they really work with the Calypso Coral and Basic Gray to make a lovely and colorful card! Great thinking out-of-the-box!

I never think to use this set for anytime but Fall – what a great idea to use Spring colors! Fabulous!
