Four You

ICHere’s a REALLY quick card for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS.  You can see my inspiration piece from the Lily Pulitzer site here.

The base of the card is Whisper White I took a piece of the Pear Pizzazz Co’ordinations paper, embossed hello in white and added it to a piece of Midnight Muse.  I took another piece of the paper, ran through the Chevron Embossing Folder, sanded it, then added to the bottom.  I wrapped a piece of the Midnight Muse Stitched Satin Ribbon around it, made a bow with the oval punch and Midnight Muse paper, added it to the cardfront then added a Midnight Muse Dahlia to the center.  I added this panel to the card base using dimensionals.

Yep…that is really ALL THERE  IS to this card!  I love ’em Clean and Simple!

  1. love that C&S…this is a great card! love the bow, at first I thought you already had the new bow die but looks like you used the clever oval punch method for your little bow. I guess I will have to give that a try, I do love the look of it!

    1. I, too, thought you used the new bow die cut! What a clever way to make a bow. I have a Bow Buddy for ribbon bows but am going to try the paper bow with the punch. Thanks for sharing!!!

  2. Mary, I love this card and am trying to case it, but I’m having trouble embossing the “hello” without leaving holes in the ep. Can you tell me what the secret is to not have little green dots showing thru the ep? I even tried stamping with white craft ink first, then embossing, but still had dots because of the texture of the paper.

    Any help would be appreciated.
