For Dad

Okay…before ANYTHING ELSE…the plane is a RETIRED IMAGE from the Plane and Simple set from last year.  My dad is really into planes.  He builds model flyable ones and then goes flies them with a friend on the weekends.  I knew when I got this set I would NOT be getting rid of it so that I could use it for cards for my dad.  It was absolutely PERFECT for this challenge!  The challenge was to use individual letters on your card so I used the Letter It set and Gumball Green ink to spell out DAD.  I stamped on Very Vanilla, cut out and added to a piece of Very Vanilla using dimensionals.  I stamped the plane using Basic Black on Very Vanilla, cut that out added using dimensionals.  I ‘free-handed’ the pierced plane trail.  The base of the card is Gumball Green.  I added three strips of Basic Black then added the panel using dimensionals.  Oh…so quick and easy (and clean and simple).

Set(s): Plane & Simple (retired), Letter It
Paper: Very Vanilla, Gumball Green, Basic Black
Ink: Gumball Green, Basic Black
Other: Piercing Tool and Mat, Dimensionals

Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
