Flurry of Wishes

We have another fun Christmas ‘stuff’ challenge for the design team for this week – make a gift card or money holder!  I think especially by now in December people are needing ideas for these!

I just LOVE the Lots of Labels framelits…they are just perfect for ALL KINDS of projects and they are PERFECT for a gift card holder.  Here it is open…

Now this might look a little familiar…check out my Thursday post (Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge) and you will see why!

Here’s the details…

• Real Red – cut out 2 of the largest Lots of Labels framelits.
• Blue/vanilla dotted print – cut out a half framelit, add to one of the red labels only attaching on the sides and bottom to make a pocket, stamp greeting using Basic Black Archival ink, add Mossy Meadow – 1/8 x 2 7/8 strip then cut out and add a deer
• Layer the second Real Red label on top, punch 1/8″ hole in top and add Candy Dot Brad Base
• Blue/Vanilla dotted print -2 1/4 x 6 1/2.  Wrap around label (but don’t adhere yet!).
• Striped print – 2 7/8 x 1/2 – add behind what is the front piece of folded print, now wrap around label and adhere flaps together in back
• Mossy Meadow – 1/8 x 3, add to top
• Cut out 2 deer and add to gift card front
• Red Foil – just out ‘jolly’ and add to gift card front
• Add the smallest Home for Christmas Mossy Meadow Enamel Dot
