Field Flowers

So the colors are Pool Party, Certainly Celery, and Daffodil Delight.  I’ll have to say…I had a bit of a problem working that third color in there!  But…I will say…I’m happy with this!  The base of the card is Pool Party.  I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock, used the scallop edge punch, layered it behind a piece of Certainly Celery Polka Dotted paper and then attached it to the card front.  In the color challenge they have what they call a ‘dessert option’ and this week it was to use twine so I wrapped some Whisper White/Pool Party Baker’s Twine around the card.  I stamped the greeting using Basic Grey.  Next I used the largest of the new Apothecary Framelits to cut a piece of Whisper White.  I stamped the stem/leaves using Certainly Celery, the more solid flower with Pool Party stamped off once and the detail flower in Pool Party (full strength).  I made a ‘bow’ (click on the tutorial tab above) using the NEW Daffodil Delight Seam Binding and a Brights Brad (yellow), added to the panel then added the panel to the cardfront using dimensionals.
