Dressed Up

Oh my…we are at the end of Preview Week for Create with Connie and Mary Spring Edition 2013!  My friend and partner Connie has a FABULOUS project for you and I made this card to go along with it!

I thought it would be fun to make a fancy ‘white’ dress.  The card is oval shaped and made with the scallop oval framelit (folded one on the back with a full one on top of it)…all in Whisper White.  Next I cut out the largest plain oval in Pink Pirouette dotted paper and added to the card base.  I made the Whisper White frame using large Scallop Oval and 2nd to largest plain oval.  I added this to the card front using dimensionals.  I did the dress in Whisper White and ran it through the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder. I used the framelit to cut out piece of Silvery Glimmer and added to the dress.  I punched out the flower (Bitty Punches), snipped between the bumps and added to the dress using a Mini Silver Brad.  I did the dress form in Sahara Sand, added the dress to the form and added tot he card.  Finally I stamped the greeting in versamark on Pink Pirouette, embossed in silver and cut into a banner.  I made a ‘bow’ (click the tutorial tab above to access my tutorial) using Whisper White Organza  Ribbon and Silver Glimmer Brad.  I added the bow to the banner then to the card front.  I added some rhinestones to the frame to finish it off.
