Curly Cute

Oh..I just LOVE these colors together and am already missing Poppy Parade when it retires the end of the month!  It is so nice having the incolors stick around for 2 years…but it does make them really difficult to let go when they retire!  When I saw these colors I thought of this fun print from the Domestic Goddess dsp paper pack and used that, along with my Flower Fusion sizzlit for today’s card.

The base of the card is Whisper White.  I took another piece of Whisper White and stamped the greeting using Basic Black and Poppy Parade then added to the card front using dimensionals.  Next I took that great print from the Domestic Goddess pack, added a strip of Poppy Parade to the top and a Poppy Parade scallop edge to the bottom.  I took a piece of Basic Black cardstock and added that to the bottom too then added this to the card front.  I made the flowers using the Flower Fusion sizzlit, Pool Party, Poppy Parade and a black brad.  I did sponge the edges of the flowers in the same ink (Pool Party and Poppy Parade) and curled the edges to give it dimension.  I added the flowers to the card front and there you have it!
