Chic

Okay…when I saw the CAS challenge for this one I honestly didn’t know WHERE to begin.  It was ‘word inspired’ and the word was ‘chic’.  This is NOT a word that is in my normal vocabulary so I went to the dictionary to help me figure out what the HECK to do with this!

Definition of CHIC
1: smart elegance and sophistication especially of dress or manner : style <wears her clothes with superb chic>

Okay…so that gave me a place to start. I decided to go very simple on this with just a dash of sparkle!

I do have to admit, once I got this done…one of my all time most FAVORITE CARDS EVER!!!!  I love the simplicity!  The base of the card is Whisper White. I took another piece of Whisper White and embossed the greeting using Silver Embossing Powder.  I added the panel to the card base using dimensionals  Next I made the flower using the Flower Fusion Sizzlit with the Silver Glimmer paper (hint…put the ‘back side down and it cuts MUCH better!) and the the blue rhinestone from a Rhinestone brad (popped out of the holder).  I put the pieces together using Crystal Effects and curled up the edges of the petals.  I did the Little Leaves Sizzlit in Whisper White, attached it to the back of the flower then added it to the card front using dimenionsionals.
