Chalk Talk

Oh…say it ain’t so!  We have come to the end of Create with Connie and Mary Summer Collection 2013!  But remember…all the projects feature items in the NEW CATALOG so they are good ALL YEAR LONG…it’s not too late to join!

This week the design team is leaving you with one last piece of inspiration…a color challenge – Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Daffodil Delight.  I made mine into a Gift Card Holder.

The base of the card is a piece of Bermuda Bay 4 1/4 x 9 scored at 1 1/2, 5 3/4.  Fold up the bottom 1 1/2″ piece and adhere on the sides to form the pocket.  I added a strip of Whisper White that I had used the Adorning Accents Edgelits on.  Then I ran a piece of Daffodil Delight through the Chevron Emboss Folder and add that on top.  I wrapped a strip of Pumpkin Pie cardstock around it, wrapped a piece of Chevron Ribbon then tied on a piece of Bermuda Bay 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon.  I stamped the image from Chalk Talk using Pumpkin Pie on Whisper White, cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelits, added Bermuda Bay Candy Dots then added the label to the band to finish it off.
