Butterflies

Spritzer1In February I held a class using the spritzers that you fill yourself.  What a fun class that was!  Here’s one of the cards we did.

The base of the card is Certainly Celery.  I took a piece of Whisper white, masked with a couple of large butterfly and spritzer with alcohol/Certainly Celery.  I took those masks off, added some of the smaller butterflies and spritzed with alcohol/Baja Breeze.  This panel is then mounted on Not Quite Navy.  I stamped the greeting using Not Quite Navy on Certainly Celery, cut with the Apothecary Accents framelits, added a piece of stitched Whisper White ribbon then added the panel to the card front using dimensionals.  The butterfly is Elegant Butterfly punch in Not Quite Navy and Bitty Butterfly in Baja Breeze then a rhinestone in the center.

Set(s): Sassy Salutations
Paper: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy
Ink: Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy
Other: Apothecary Accents Framelits, Whisper White Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals

Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!

  1. Beautiful! Sorry I am a little confused…where did the pale yellow areas come from, how did a couple smaller butterflies remain white, how many sizes of butterfly masks were used ans how many of each size? Sorry for sooo many ???, my mentalpause is regaling kicking in right now! TIA for your time and help! 🙂

  2. Love the technique…though I never remember how much of each to add. It makes a beautiful card. Thanks for sharing!
