Happy April 1st everyone! No…this is not an April Fool’s post but a peek at the new Summer Smooches Suite that is available this month and most of it available in the NEW CATALOG! The control freaks did a swap with the ‘stuff’ from the suite and this my swap card.

I love the bright, crisp look of this and it was one of those that was so easy to do! The base of the card is the Clear Scallop Square die. I folded on piece and ran it through to form the base (remember the fold goes under the cut line) and then a full one on top. I did these in Real Red. Next I took a piece of Whisper White and ran it through the Stripes Embossing folder, did a scallop edge in Lucky Limeade, layered under a piece of the Summer Smooches dsp (the red polka dotted print), added along the bottom of the Whisper White panel, layered onto Daffodil Delight then onto the card front. Next I stamped the double leaf using Lucky Limeade and the tulip using Real Red and Daffodil Delight markers. Stamped this three times on Whisper White, punched with the 1″ Square punch, layered on Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Lucky Limeade Postage Stamp Punch. I added the Real Red and Lucky Limeade ones to the panel. I added a small yellow rhinestone brad to the yellow one and added to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped the greeting using Real Red on Whisper White, cut into a banner and added to the card front using dimensionals and glue dots
