Belated Birthday

What a happy color combo! I love the Basic Grey in there because it seems to just balance those two bright colors! Since we are having a ‘nature’ theme on the Create with Connie and Mary New Catalog Edition, I thought I’d go a little ‘nature’ myself with the adorable snail from the Button Buddies set! (But remember…in the Create with Connie and Mary New Catalog Edition…we are featuring the NEW sets and products!)

The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Pumpkin Pie with a piece of the Basic Grey striped dsp added to the bottom. I stamped the Happy Birthday from Bring on the Cake in Basic Grey and colored in with my Basic Grey, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie markers. I stamped the sorry I’m late from the Easy Events set in Real Red then cut this out with a Layered Label Framelit. I punched a Real Red Word Window piece, cut in half and added to the sides of the label using the silver Mini Brads and then added this to the card front. I stamped the snail in Basic Grey, cut out, added a Real Red button using Whisper White Baker’s Twine then added to the card front using dimensionals to finish it off!

Hi Mary, I saw this card on Stampin’ Connection and just loved it!
I cased it and actually used a Create with Connie and Mary challenge. Of course I gave you credit for the original! Your work is awesome! Happy stamping. Jennie
