It’s Thursday and you know that THAT means…time for another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge and this week…a REALLY fun sketch challenge for you!
I was looking over the designs from our AMAZING design team and it is incredible how we all start with the same sketch yet our finished cards are all so different! How cool is that.
I’m lovin’ these little acorns and decided to use those for my card (okay…I had some ‘extras’ on my desk from a project I did for the Create with Connie and Mary September Mini Session! I didn’t want to use the Fall dsp in the Mini but found this print from English Garden pack!
Here’s the details…
Kraft – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded
English Garden ‘pebble print’ – 2 3/8 x 5 1/2, add to card front
Night of Navy – 3 x 5, layer the Lots of Label and oval together and run through the Big Shot at the same time. Add to card front using dimensionals.
Whisper White – stamp solid acorn Pear Pizzazz, diamond top Soft Suede, striped acorn Mossy Meadow, solid top Early Espresso. Punch everything out and layer together. Loop Gold Cording Trim then add acorns to card front.
Whisper White – stamp greeting using Early Espresso, cut out and add to card front.
Super simple card and perfect for fall!

I’m always amazed at how everyone’s cards turn out so differently as well! What a talented group! I love your acorns in this color scheme. The gold cord and thankful banner are wonderful accents!
Great choice of designer paper – perfect for fall, and I love the use of navy! The acorns are a great accent, especially with the gold cord. Great use of the sketch!
Oh, this is one of my favorite papers! It looks wonderful paired with these adorable acorns and gold cord for a fall-ish card! I’m forever amazed too at the different approaches everyone takes to the sketch; always great inspiration!
I agree – I love how all our cards have the same starting point but end up so different! You’ve persuaded me to purchase those acorns – love them in that colourway, great choice of dsp!

This is so delightful. I love the colour palette and the acorns look beautiful layered on the gold cord. Lovely design. 🙂

I love finding little extras already made to go on a card! Your DSP might be English Garden but it really looks like a nice fall paper here. Lovely!
Good idea to use that design from English Garden because it is perfect for an autumn, acorn type of card! Those acorns are so fun!
