Well Sunday was another Featured Stamper challenge over on SU Connection.  I really have fun doing those and play along when I can.  I love getting inspiration from my fellow stampers!  I’ve been on this kick lately of using my With All My Heart set with non-Valentine colors so I pulled out one of my favorite color combos when I played along…

The base of the card is So Saffron.  I took a piece of the bride specialty paper and brayered over it with the Dusty Durango ink.  This is layered onto a piece of Basic Grey cardstock.  The ‘yellow’ panel is a So Saffron print from the Sweet Pea paper pack, layered onto Basic Grey and then the striped panel.  On the Whisper White panel I stamped the largest image using So Saffron, the medium one with Dusty Durango and the little flower with Basic Grey.  This is layered onto Basic Grey and then the striped panel.  I tied a piece of Basic Grey Satin Ribbon around the card and attached to the card front.  Next, I punched the XL Flower from Dusty Durango and sponged the edges with the same color.  I took the medium image, inked with So Saffron and ‘rocked and rolled’ it into Dusty Durango, stamped on Whisper White and punched out with the 1 1/4” punch.  This is layered onto a 1 3/8” Basic Grey circle.  I punch a Dusty Durango flower using the 3 flower punch, sponged with the same color, and added it to the center using a Silver Brad.  This was added to the center of the flower and then the card front.  I inked the friend greeting using the Dusty Durango marker, stamped on Whisper White, and punched with the word window punch.  I sponged using So Saffron ink and then layered onto a Basic Grey Modern Label.  This was added to the card front.

I hope you all are having a good day!  Today I finish off 2 of my classes - WOOO HOO!!!  Looking forward to having them all done!  Until next time…happy stampin’!
