Here’s another card a made awhile back and haven’t shared yet.  Sometimes I like using just a little bit of a different color to make things pop and for this card I found that just a little Real Red was just what the card needed.

The base of the card is Taken with Teal.  I took a piece of cardstock vellum and put it through the Finial Press Embossing folder.  The I took some Soft Suede ink and sponge around the edges before adhering to the card front.  Next I took a piece of Whisper White and layered onto a piece of Soft Suede cardstock.  I took one of the prints from Sweet Pea dsp and layered along the bottom of the whisper white and tied the Soft Suede Polka Dotted ribbon around it before layering to the card front.  I stamped the large image from the With All My Heart set, stamped on Taken with Teal and punched with the XL Flower Punch.  I sponged around the edges using Soft Suede and then added one of the Real Red Epoxy Brads and then to the card front.  I stamped the greeting on Whisper White using Soft Suede ink, punched with the Word Window punch and then Taken with Teal Modern Label punch (also sponged with Soft Suede).  I inked the little heart from the greeting using Real Red, cut out and added to the greeting.  This is really a simple card but I like how that little bit red just makes the other colors pop!

Until next time…Happy Stampin’!
