Just a reminder…TOUR DE FREAKS BLOG HOP - January 20th!!!  And now back to our regularly scheduled program….speaking of the Freaks, this is a card I made for my Control Freaks swap.  Every time a new catalog or mini comes out, the ‘Freaks’ get together and swap.  I just LOVE opening that package when I get it…the “WOWs” never end!  I now have all these WONDERFUL cards on my board to take to my workshops and classes.  Okay..more details on the card inside…

I don’t usually make ‘small’ cards for our swaps but for some reason the 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card seemed to work best for my design this time so I just went with it.  The base of the card is Real Red and I used a 4 x 4 piece of the FABULOUS new GLITTERY Sending Love dsp on it!  I stamped the ‘dotted’ heart from the I {Heart} Heart set using Real Red on a piece of Very Vanilla and mounted it on a piece of Chocolate Chip.  You can’t really see the detail on the Chocolate Chip scallop circle but I pierced a circle in the middle of it and added the dots using my white gel pen.  I stamped the circle of hearts image on Very Vanilla using Real Red and punched out with the 1 1/4” circle punch.  This is layered onto a 1 3/8 Real Red circle and one of the new Chocolate Chip epoxy brads are in the middle!  I took a strip of the Pink dsp from the Sending Love pack and stamped the sentiment using Chocolate Chip.  I layered this onto a Chocolate Chip that I used the NEW SAB Scallop Trim punch on.  I added all this to the card front and then tied a Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon around it.  I have to say, all in all, I was happy with the way my card turned out!
