Vintage Vogue 4
This is a card I designed a while back and didn’t realize that I haven’t shared it with you yet. It’s all about vintage on this one!
The base of the card is Rose Red (I seem to be using that alot lately!). I took the Vintage jumbo wheel) and wheeled across the bottom using Rose Red. Next I used my Lattice die with Basic Black. Now, it is really difficult to see but then I took the lattice and ran it through my Finial Press embossing folder. It really adds to it when you see it in real life. Next I tied black 5/8” satin ribbon around the card. I stamped the largest flower from the Vintage Vogue set using Pumpkin Pie ink on Very Vanilla and cut it out. The small flowers are Rose Red on Very Vanilla then cut out. The leaves are Old Olive. On the small flowers have a black brad from the Vintage Brad collection. I needed a larger one for the bigger flower and didn’t have one, so I took one of the Very Vanilla brads from the Stylized Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware kit, covered with black CRAFT ink, then clear embossing powder and embossed until I had a black brad. Worked for me! The flowers are all layered onto a piece of Very Vanilla then Old Olive. This is layered onto the card front using dimensionals.
Finally I used the Vintage Label SAB set. I stamped the oval frame using basic black on Very Vanilla (and added some color using Pumpkin Pie and Rose Red markers), punched with the wide oval punch and sponged with Old Olive and the greeting is in Rose Red. This is layered onto the front using dimensionals.
