On Sunday, Stampin’ Up! Connection (a place Stampin’ Up! has for us demonstrators) hosts a Featured Stamper.  Last week I was selected as the featured stamper (COOL!!!) and this week it is Ilina Crouse…a favorite stamper of mine.  So what we do is we find something in that person’s gallery that we like and we CASE it…changing at least 3 things.  This was my finished project.

I can’t link to her project because the site is for SU demos only but I just LOVED her card.  This card came together sooooooo quickly!  I decided to use the Cottage Wall dsp as my inspiration for the card.  The base of the card is Rich Razzleberry.  I Took a piece of Whisper White and ran it through the Big Shot using the Finial Press embossing folder (I LOVE that folder) and then layered it onto Old Olive.  Next I took a piece of the dsp and layered Rich Razzleberry scallops using the Scallop Trim punch along the top and the bottom.  I layered this to the card front and tied a Rich Razzleberry Polka Dotted ribbon around it.  This is layered onto the card front.  The greeting is from Full of Life.  I inked using Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry markers, stamped on Whisper White and punched out using the Wide Oval punch.  This is layered onto a Rich Razzleberry tag from the Lots of Tags Sizzlits.  This added to card front using dimensions.  I took the big flower from Vintage Vogue and stamped three different ways using the Rich Razzleberry ink.  One is stamped full strength.  One is stamped after stamping off twice.  The third, I stamped off twice then wen back and did rock and roll with full strength ink to give it some dimension.  I stamped the leaves using Old Olive.  I cut everything out (because that is what I do!), layered them up and add a green rhinestone brad in the middle before adding to the card front using dimensionals.  On Ilina’s original card, she had some brads on the bottom right so I popped the rhinestones out of the brads and added them to the bottom using glue dots.

I was really happy with how this turned out!  Such great inspiration!  Happy Stampin’!
